Dit zou wel eens de mooiste Daf 55 Marathon Coupe kunnen zijn. Deze auto is compleet gestript en opnieuw opgebouwd. Kosten nog moeite zijn hierbij gespaard. De lak is puntgaaf, evenals de complete afwerking van de auto.
De techniek is daarbij niet vergeten. De motor is opnieuw opgebouwd door Ton Koster die als sinds begin jaren ’70 actief is met Daf in de rallysport.
De gehele auto is in nieuwstaat. Deze Daf rijdt, remt en stuurt zoals het hoort. Hij staat op een set in nieuwstaat verkerende Vredestein Sprint banden.
Hij is uitgevoerd in de toepasselijke oranje kleur “Nationa” met matzwarte striping. Persoonlijk vind ik dit de mooiste kleur voor een Daf Marathon.
De Daf Marathon is ontwikkeld naar aanleiding van de goede resultaten die Daf behaalde in 1968 in de zwaarste rally ooit: de London-Sydney Marathon.
Deze schitterende Daf wordt verkocht in opdracht van een klant die zijn collectie auto’s aan het inkrimpen is.

This could well be the nicest Daf 55 Marathon Coupe. This car has been completely stripped and rebuilt. Costs and effort have been spared. The paint is as good as the complete finish of the car.
The technology has not been forgotten. The engine has been rebuilt by Ton Koster who has been active in the rally sport with Daf since the early 1970s.
The entire car is in new condition. This Daf drives, brakes and steers as it should. It is on a set in new condition Vredestein Sprint tires.
It is executed in the appropriate orange color “Nationa” with matte black striping. Personally, I think this is the most beautiful color for a Daf Marathon.
The Daf Marathon was developed in response to the good results that Daf achieved in 1968 in the toughest rally ever: the London-Sydney Marathon.
This beautiful Daf is sold on behalf of a customer who is shrinking his collection of cars.

Ce pourrait être le plus beau Daf 55 Marathon Coupe. Cette voiture a été entièrement démontée et reconstruite. Les coûts et les efforts ont été épargnés. La peinture est aussi bonne que la finition complète de la voiture.
La technologie n'a pas été oubliée. Le moteur a été reconstruit par Ton Koster qui est actif dans le sport de rallye avec Daf depuis le début des années 1970.
La voiture entière est à l'état neuf. Ce Daf roule, freine et braque comme il se doit. Il est sur un ensemble de pneus Vredestein Sprint à l'état neuf.
Il est exécuté dans la couleur orange appropriée «Nationa» avec des rayures noires mates. Personnellement, je pense que c'est la plus belle couleur pour un Daf Marathon.
Le Daf Marathon a été développé en réponse aux bons résultats obtenus par Daf en 1968 dans le rallye le plus difficile de tous les temps: le Marathon Londres-Sydney.
Cette belle Daf est vendue au nom d'un client qui rétrécit sa collection de voitures.
