Mij wordt wel eens gevraagd wat de meest ideale combinatie is qua prijs, kwaliteit, motor en techniek. Je komt mijns inziens dan uit op de V70 classic met 20 kleppen motor en dan het oude type zonder elektronisch gasklephuis. Deze heeft toch de 170 pk, klinkt heerlijk, is degelijk en goedkoop te onderhouden, heeft goede prestaties en de lekkere classic look. 
Hier hebben we er zo één, een donkerblauwe met creme lederen interieur, lekker veel luxe zoals elektrisch verstelbare stoelen en verwarmd, climate control en boardcomputer. Van buiten is de auto iets verlaagd, heeft dikke 18" lichtmetalen wielen in het zwart, waarmee de auto heerlijk strak stuurt. Technisch is de auto afgelopen tijd goed onder handen genomen. Hij heeft o.a. een nieuwe koppeling gekregen. Hier en daar een heel klein deukje of krasje, maar kijk naar de foto's hoe erg het meevalt.
