Tannoy’s Precision Serie laat bijna een eeuw ervaring uitmonden in een tijdloos ontwerp. Tijdloos qua uiterlijk, tijdloos qua klank en tijdloos qua toepassing. Afgewerkt in stijlvol notenhout of moderne hoogglans, zijn ze een welkome aanwinst voor ieder interieur. De bouwwijze, toegepaste onderdelen en filtering verzekeren een klank die velen zal doen verbazen. Deze luidsprekerlijn presteert ver boven de prijsstelling. Zowel in een klassieke stereo opstelling als in een volledige surround opstelling is er voldoende keuze om de set van de dromen samen te stellen. De lijn is simpelweg ingedeeld naar het aantal luidsprekers in de kast. De 6.1 staat voor de monitorluidspreker die gebruik maakt van één 6 inch (150 mm) Precision Dual Concentric driver in een gepoorte behuizing. Deze kleine reus kan ingezet worden als subtiele hoofdluidspreker in een kleine woonkamer, maar tevens als surround luidspreker in een serieuze bioscoopopstelling. De 6.2 is een middelgrote vloerstaander met een 6 inch Precision Dual Concentric driver en een gematchte 6 inch laag driver. Het model 6.4 is het vlaggenschip van de lijn, uitgerust met een 6 inch Precision Dual Concentric driver, een gematchte 6 inch laag driver én een dubbele 6 inch passieve radiator. Door de identieke filtering en cross-overing blijft het karakter altijd gewaarborgd. De 6C sluit de gelederen. Deze Centre Speaker maakt filmgeluid of liever gezegd de dialogen, tot een ware belevenis. The Precision 6.2 is the smallest floor-standing loudspeaker in the Precision range. It is capable of delivering low bass and effortless dynamics from a compact, small footprint cabinet. The 150 mm (6”) Precision Dual Concentric driver is accompanied by a matched 150 mm (6”) bass driver in a rear-ported cabinet, bringing additional scale and power to Precision’s signature clarity and articulation. Ideal for small-to-medium sized rooms, Precision 6.2 is supplied with a dedicated plinth and offers a small Mass Loading Cavity (MLC) for fine-tuning of the bass response. The 29.3 litre Precision 6.2 cabinet is a compact floorstanding design with sculpted curved side panels that dramatically reduce internals standing waves and reflections. An innovative plinth with top-adjust levelling and a mass loading cavity, that can be filled or part filled with mineral aggregate to tune bass response to your room, make this a fully featured cabinet design. Extensive bracing, the use of Tannoy’s Differential Materials Technology (DMT) to best couple the drivers to the cabinets, and hand-made crossovers, built onto low-resonant boards with components also set into DMT, together deliver deep, rich yet incredible articulate and tactile sound. The sumptuous curves and immaculate finishing detail of the precision 6.2 is complemented by the silver-colour drivers, smooth trim rings that conceal driver mountings and subtle Tannoy branding. Around the back the luxury continues with full wrap-around finish and a radial terminal panel. Unique to Tannoy this offers the opportunity for single or bi-wiring and a fifth grounding terminal, all heavy duty gold plated terminals binding posts. Available in high gloss or satin dark walnut and high gloss black, the Precision 6.2 looks as good as it sounds.
