PrehKeyTec has covered the compact numeric silicone keypad SIK 21 with a PU-coated, abrasion-resistant silicone surface, making the keypad highly robust. The SIK 21 is IP66-certified, protecting it against the ingress of liquids and dust. It withstands impacts and vibrations and is resistant to common industrial chemicals. Thanks to this combination, the robust SIK 21 is ideally equipped for tough working environments.
The numeric keypad sits comfortably in your hand and is also operable with gloves – so it is the right keypad for your customers in logistics, the industry and the food sector. Plus, it is ideally suited for usage on forklifts, in wet rooms and in cold storage. All the keys on the SIK 21 numeric silicone keypad are programmable. Thanks to the dimmable red backlighting, it remains fully operable even in poorly lit or dark environments. Easily mount the SIK 21 to VESA adapters. It has a USB interface and is easily installed via »Plug & Play«. No additional software is necessary.

Description
The SIK 21 is a numeric programmable keypad with a rugged silicone surface, having been designed for use in harsh environments, rugged applications, wet rooms, machine control, military and emergency services, cold store, logistics/fork lift trucks, food production/catering, industrial equipment control and in other fields of activity where extreme environmental conditions are encountered.
The silicon surface protects against dust and liquid ingress, being sealed to meet IP66. The keypad also features backlit keys to allow operation in dark and limited lighting conditions. The design of the key layout has also been enhanced to allow operators to work seamlessly even when the operators need to wear protective gloves.

Rugged Silicone Keypad
The SIK 21 Num is a programmable numeric keypad with a rugged silicone surface, having been specifically designed for use in harsh environments, rugged applications, wet room applications and machine control.
Applications for this keyboard include military and emergency services, cold store, logistics/fork lift trucks, food production/catering, industrial equipment control and in other fields of activity where extreme environmental conditions are encountered.
The rugged silicone surface protects against dust and liquid ingress, being hermetically sealed to protect the entire keyboard, with the unit meeting the IP66 rating for fluid protection. This new keypad technology and the design of the unit allows operators to work seamlessly even when the operators need to wear protective gloves. The key surface provides enhanced protection against hard use by making use of a special PU coating to provide long term abrasion protection.
One special feature of this keyboard/keypad is the use of backlighting on each of the key buttons, providing users with enhanced key location and selection in harsh and limited lighting conditions. The underside of the keyboard features integrated screw threads arranged in a 75mm VESA mounting arrangement for ease of integration and mounting.
