    Further information

The children are fine. Better than good. In fact, they're so incredibly talented that Kona had to build a bike to keep up with the crazy progression kids are throwing down the trails these days. The Process 24 is geared towards adult bikes and is ready to tackle the local singletrack or the roughest lines at the bike park. The Process 24 gets an updated fork with the Manitou Machete J Unit and 120mm of travel. It is thus ready to face big and small blows. A Shimano Deore 1x derailleur and brakes provide excellent control both uphill and downhill.

Kona 6061 Aluminum
Kona 7005 aluminum alloys and are used throughout the fleet of and asphalt bikes. Both Kona 7005 and 6061 are strong, durable, lightweight alloys that provide fantastic, reliable performance, sufficient for thousands of rides. A large portion of 7005/6061-Rohre tubes are conified and/or shaped, which means that the wall thickness of the tubes can be increased or decreased and shaped, allowing Kona to finely tune the strength and riding characteristics of a given frame depending on its intended use.
Internal tax rate
The pads are actually pressed into the frame and can be easily removed. An internal headset also reduces stack height, allowing the stem and handlebar height to be better adjusted and giving the rider the best possible fit.

Narrowed head tube
A larger circumference at the lower end of the head tube better distributes shock forces, extends the life of the headset itself and eliminates braking jerk, all while providing confident steering. The inherent strength of the triangular design also means a stronger riding position and better balance, giving the driver more control over rough terrain. A Zero-Stack tapered head tube puts power where it's needed – in the lower headset cup – and maximizes bearing durability where it's needed
