Khaled advised enterprises on driving growth through purposeful thinking, innovation, and assessing risks and opportunities. He is skilled in leading diversified and cross-functional teams, developing and executing sustainable business strategies and public policies, as well as initiating, managing, and advancing investor relations, strategic marketing communications, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and brand reputation management systems.
In 2012, Khaled was appointed as the representative of the UN Global Compact in Lebanon, mandated to advocate and promote the initiative to local stakeholders, recruit private sector entities, NGOs and establish the UNGC local Network.
Khaled also contributed to the launch of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the region, localizing and adapting countries’ national Net Zero vision. With a 30-year knowledge build-up and multidisciplinary experience, he conceived, designed and applied disruptive and engaging solutions to bridging the gap between investors, the planet and humanity. He also served as Consultant for many CSR, sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) departments.
Khaled also acted as advisor to many key public and private figures, and to the Lebanese official delegation to the World Bank Group and IMF Annual Meetings over a decade.
Throughout his career, Khaled managed senior executives and top-tier researchers in a variety of sectors and business fields, having accumulated decades of experience in publishing, content development, media, country promotion concepts, macroeconomics, business monitoring, and social media know-how, content creation and copywriting.
He is an enjoyable director for start-up business ideas and incubators and nurturing impactful social entrepreneurs. He demonstrated full flexibility and capabilities in planning, teaming, incubating and leading diverse players, supporting different attitudes, and scientifically evaluating, measuring, and reporting achievements.
