Description
Cipollini NK1K Ultegra – Comfortable and lightning fast
High speed is in the genes of Mario Cipollini, former world sprint champion and founder of the brand. The NK1K is fast as an arrow, while remaining suitable for long distances.
The carbon frame, monocoque with a single-layer finish, has been aerodynamically optimized. A first glance at the saddle and the front diagonal tube which tightly surround the tires, like on a time trial bike, will convince you. The aerodynamic seat post with integrated seat post clamp extends this design language.
While at the front the head tube was designed with great headset stiffness, the seatstays remained thin, providing more damping at the rear. So even long journeys on rough asphalt are easy to endure.
The geometry has also been optimized in terms of stack and reach for the benefit of a more relaxed seating position.
The internal cable routing also ensures a sleek design and aerodynamic advantages.
Perfectly adjusted equipment

If traditional Italian brands have long struggled to mount disc brakes on racing bikes, Cipollini also offers here in principle the possibility of mounting disc or rim brakes on this frame. This version of the NK1K uses Shimano's hydraulic disc brakes. The Ultegra BR-R8170 disc brake system provides optimal metering and control using SERVO-WAVE technology. This generation requires less maintenance and is quieter than ever.

The ST-R8170 brake levers offer an ergonomic grip and the handle width can be adjusted individually.
On this version of the NK1K, the complete Ultegra Di R8150 group was mounted. Thanks to Shimano Shadow+ technology, it guarantees fast and smooth gear changes. It's electronic and, more recently, largely wireless, which contributes to its sleek design, allows for a wide range of speeds as well as customization via the Shimano E-Tube app and a smartphone. Twelve gears at the rear and a semi-compact double chainring of 52 and 36 teeth at the front, combined with a large cassette of 11 to 34 teeth, turn every mountain into a playground. The wide chainring also offers enough punch on the dish.

All components of the Di groupset are designed compactly and aerodynamically, so they fit perfectly into the character of this NK1K frameset.

Fans of structured, watt-focused training will be delighted to discover the Ultegra power meter on the crank.
The aerodynamic and versatile wheels of the FULCRUM-Airbeat-400 DB system with a rim height of 40 millimeters complete the package brilliantly, both technically and aesthetically. The 28 millimeter Pirelli tires fitted here will also guarantee you good comfort on rougher roads.
The result of intensive research work

Mario Cipollini invests a lot of time and passion in research and development to create ever more innovative and high-performance frame designs, while remaining extremely aesthetic and unique. Its team at the company's headquarters in Verona includes the best engineers in the sector.

The brand relies on transparent production chains and Italian quality work. The bikes are developed and largely produced in Italy, some stages of which are carried out by hand. Carbon lamination takes place at the Cipollini bicycle center in Bosnia, under the guidance of the Italian expert team. Cipollini tests the equipment with professional teams that the brand also partly sponsors.

The NK1K is therefore UCI compliant. Ambitious amateur cyclists who appreciate Italian design will also have a lot of fun riding this bike.

This bike is fast, aerodynamic, with great steering precision, and also seating comfort. For those who prefer a versatile endurance bike to a pure time trial bike.
