Description
Cipollini Dolomia Rival AXS – Lightness cast in the mold
For former sprint world champion and company founder Mario Cipollini, cycling was a world of superlatives. This also applies to the brand's high-end racing bikes today.
The Dolomia frame, the lightest in the Cipollini range, is manufactured using the in-house TCM (True Carbon Monocoque) process. This is not just a traditional monocoque frame, but a frame made from a single piece, without the rear structure being added later, as is the case with most commercial monocoque frames . This results in a high degree of rigidity at a low weight, to which the 3K finish for carbon lamination also contributes. In size M, the frame weighs only 780 grams.
The geometries are optimized for each frame size, making the bike very responsive.
Fans of structured training, focused on watts, will be delighted to discover the QUAQ power meter on the crank.

Deda's carbon handlebars and lightweight Tune Schwarzbrenner wheels, together with the fast 25-millimeter Vittoria tires, help bring this complete race-oriented bike well under a total weight of 7 kilograms. This version of the Dolomia, with its fabulous weight of 6.53 kilos, is even lower than the UCI requirements.

The result of intensive research work

The Dolomia is a powerful, agile but balanced all-round bike that climbs lightly and glides in a straight line or corners while keeping its trajectory. With 29 millimeters of tire clearance, thanks to the hydraulic disc brakes, you enjoy a certain level of comfort.

Mario Cipollini invests a lot of time and passion in research and development to create ever more innovative and high-performance frame designs, while remaining extremely aesthetic and unique. Its team at the company's headquarters in Verona includes the best engineers in the sector.

The brand relies on transparent production chains and Italian quality work. The bikes are developed and largely produced in Italy, some stages of which are carried out by hand. Carbon lamination takes place at the Cipollini bicycle center in Bosnia, under the guidance of the Italian expert team. Cipollini tests the equipment with professional teams that the brand also partly sponsors.

The Dolomia is clearly moving into the pro realm, however, ambitious amateur cyclists who appreciate Italian design will enjoy riding this bike just as much.

Optimized aerodynamics

Thanks to a special construction of the fork and headset, fully internal cable routing ensures a sleek design and aerodynamic benefits. The seatstays have also been aerodynamically optimized. The straight fork offers a direct steering feel.

Perfectly adapted equipment

If traditional Italian brands have long struggled to fit disc brakes on racing bikes, Cipollini is now also relying on hydraulic disc brakes from Sram.

This version of the Dolomia is equipped with Sram's lightweight premium groupset. The Red-eTap-AXS offers precise and smooth electronic shifting. It is wireless, which contributes to its sleek design, and allows a wide range of subtly adjustable speeds with the X-Range system as well as customization via the Sram-AXS and smartphone application. Twelve speeds at the rear and a double chainring of 48 and 35 teeth at the front allow, in combination with a cassette of 10 to 33 teeth, to find the right speed in all situations.
