Alison Moyet - Alf (LP)

Alison Moyet begon haar carriere in 1982, op 21‐jarige leeftijd, toen zij samen met voormalig Depeche Mode lid Vincent Clarke het electropopduo Yazoo oprichtte. Yazoo scoorde een aantal flinke hits en bracht twee albums uit. Desalniettemin besloten Moyet en Clarke in 1983 de band op te heffen.

In 1984 bracht Moyet haar solo debuut album uit, 'Alf' getiteld en genoemd naar haar bijnaam uit de punktijd. Het album werd een grote hit en bracht drie succesvolle singles voort: 'Love Resurrection', 'Invisible' en 'All Cried Out'.
